Pandian Stores - New Montage Review

This is my take on the new Promo Montage. A review if you may say so.

 

The seven lead characters, all happy, posing in front of the crux of the story, their home. Though the picture or the final freeze frame shows only that, the few seconds video as well as the frame by itself is the reflection of each character and their whole personality, so different, yet same.

Sathyamoorthy Anna - The head of the family. In the center. His rightful place. He is the axis. Dhanam anni to his left, for she is his heart, his conscience. Kanna, the kadaikutty closer to the leader for he will forever be sheltered/ protected. 

Though Moorthy resting his hands on Dhanam's shoulder looks simple, it shows that he always leans on her for support. 

Dhanam is his strength yet his weakness. The video shows her smiling at Mullai for she unintentionally impacted her life and is now happy, it turned out well. Dhanam here looks contend and blissful. 

In the video it can also be seen  kanna was actually holding Moorthy Anna's hand, for how muchever he grows, he will forever be the child to the family. Also he has no issue in being one and actually appreciates being one. 

Jeeva and Meena - They are in their own world among all the crowd. Also Meena is seen holding Jeeva's hand, coz for her, she always needs Jeeva. She will forever keep holding Jeeva, come rain or shine. For Jeeva, Meena is the love of his life, thus holding his left. 

This also shows how the family respects their need for space and gives it to them. Once again, Kanna is standing next to Meena, for he is the first one to come forward in inviting her into the PS home when she came in. 

Kathir and Mullai - Mullai to Dhanam's left, showing she will forever be there to support Dhanam , for it is Dhanam she trusts above all else. Kathir to her left, for he is her heart.

Kathir is seen standing a little behind Mullai, for emphasizing that he will always have her back. Once again , she is his scale of right and wrong, it's always her words of rightfulness he listens at the end. Hence Mullai being at the right side of Kathir is apt. 

Kathir and Mullai not holding each other show that neither is gonna be holding the other down, but will give them all the freedom to be what they want to be, and support each other. 

I also feel either Kathir or Mullai not holding each other is coz , for Kathir touch is a deeper way of expressing emotions, which is established from time to time. Mullai here seems to understand that and accepts it for its part of being Kathir. 

Last but not the least, both the middle brothers standing at the extreme corners shows that, they will always follow in the path, the leader shows and will continue to protect the family.
