********** PS Shop – Earlier in the day**********

After his discussion with Jeeva, Kathir felt lighter and more confident. He thought of ringing up Moorthy to inform and seek his permission in bringing Mullai home. But, Moorthy has informed very clearly that he will not be available over the phone till late evening to both Jeeva and Kathir in the morning itself.

He can easily seek Dhanam’s guidance, but she will either get too excited or may ask him wait for Moorthy to return. If such thing happened, he couldn’t not do what she says. Without giving any thoughts to all this, he has committed to his wife that he will be there to take her home before noon.

Mullai has already called him and is sending messages from time to time, though he hadn’t replied yet. He is sure that, by now she would have informed her parents of her return plan and being one enthu-cutlet, would be running around in her foyer, waiting for him. If she had her way, she will be jumping on his vehicle even before he can stop and greet his in laws. Her excitement this morning is the indication of all this.

She is happy to return to the house, their home, and is actually looking forward to come. When he said that she will be returning to her parents’ for some more time, her face wilted for a few seconds. Kathir felt at peace on knowing her genuine happiness to return to their place. Even if she didn’t like him, like his small doubt, that’s quite faint now, she is happy in their house. She is waiting to return. That’s more than enough for him.

“Inniki rathri, roomla, ava irupa! Ulla ponna ava mughatha, nejamave paarkalam. Adhu podhum da Kathiru! “ He placed his right palm over his heart with a smile on his face with this thought running in his mind.

He has some small plans to execute for the day, to make it a little more special for her. No reason. He simply wanted to do those for her. Like Jeeva mentioned it’s a slow day. Maama and Saravana can manage the shop. If need be, he can return once he picked her, even with her to the shop.

She does like visiting the shop. Also, hadn’t there been a new brand of Choco sticks in the shop that arrived last week? Kanna and Saravana said it was really nice. Kathir decided that he needs to get some for her.

“Adhan rathri la kooda Muttaai saapiduvaale! Namaku kooda anniki kuduthaale… Inniki naama kudukalam… “

After his talks with Jeeva, he decided to make her happy as much as possible in the way he knows. If she doesn’t like them, then let her say no. He is ready to accept it. There are things he needs to speak, yes. But in the meantime, when he is getting opportunity, why not use it? Her birthday is one such opportunity.

Thinking all this, he decides to leave to his in law’s place. Suddenly remembering something, he turns to Jeeva

K: Ama nae… Indha Kanna paya enga? Kalaila kootitu vandhayae?

J: Avana pudhu kadaila nadakara velai ellam gavanika , anga anupiruken da…

K: Avanaya?

J: Inga irundha irukura mundiri, chocolate nu ellathiyum edhudhu sapituduvaan. Appadiye galla petti la irundhu kaasaiyum edhuthu pocket la pottupan… Adhaan…

K: adhuvum seri dhaan…

J: Sayangalam varaikum onnum prechanai ila… Avan anga irupaan. Nama apo poi anga partha podhum.

K: Aana ivan nee sonna velai ozhunga seiyanume?

J: Seivaan da.. Avan phone la charge ila.. Anga charger um ila… Bike um naan kondu vandhuten. Ellathukum mela… Avanuku 200 rs kuduppen soli iruken… Eppadi velai nadakadhu nu paaru!

K: Apo seri..

J: Ean da? Nee ilama avan poi Mullaiya kootitu vandhuduvaan nu nenaikuriya?

K: Cha.. Cha… Appadi ila…. ( After few seconds)Irundhaalum, konjam appadiyum dhaan!

J: Senjaalum seivaan da avan.. Vilaiyada aal ila… Bore adikudhu nu… Idhula Meena vera kootu kalavaani. Inniki ava leave potu iruka.. Idhunga rendum podhum, namma veetla chinna pullaingalae ilanu feel pannave vendam… Seekiram poi un pondatti ya neeye kootitu vaa…

Kathir laughed hearing Jeeva’s words along with Jeeva…

K: Seri nae… Apo Naan varen.

J: Kathiru! Oru Nimisham…

Jeeva goes near him and hands him some cash.

J:Vachukooda! Apparam appadiye, neram irundha, mudinja, namma Rajam akka kadai ya paarthutu vaa.. Avasaram ila.

Kathir affirmed Jeeva and left to bring his wife back home.

Pandian Stores - New Montage Review

This is my take on the new Promo Montage. A review if you may say so. The seven lead characters, all happy, posing in front of the crux of the story, their home. Though the picture or the final freeze frame shows only that, the few seconds video as well as the frame by itself is the reflection of each character and their whole personality, so different, yet same.
