As he starts towards the Goodown, he comes to a halt near a enclosed tree shade as it starts to rain again. He cant afford to get wet or drenched.

As he sat on his trusted TVS 50, he remembered how she had requested him, pleading him to teach her. That memory brought a smile to his face with all her antics.

Suddenly it sparked to him

“Sollikudutha badhiluku enna tharuva?
Enna Venum….
Naan yosichu Solren….”

YES.

Kathir got his trump. He got to see her. Got to speak to her. There are certain things that one spoke only in person and not over the phone. This one he got to do in person. But there is a hitch again. He needs her alone for this. He doesn’t want others to know that they are meeting in the middle of the night. Especially his in laws.

Her mom’s home is hardly 5 mins walk from where he is stranded. If the rain stops, he will be able to go to her mom’s place. But what to tell them? He checked the time … its 11.20. The rain has started to slow down. Its just a little drizzle. Thats fine.

He picked his mobile and dialed her number… A song played.

He was shocked, saddened and kind of delighted all at once on hearing the words. Did he do this to her? Is this the song she has? He never knew. But …

The call went unanswered.

Is she sleeping? If so, does he want to disturb her sleep?  Does he want to disturb her sleep? What if she is avoiding him?

No. This one, this once, he is going to do what he wants. Yes. He is going to be selfish here.

He rang her once more…

“ Ennakaga eriyum Kathire….
En Vazhvil Ooli thanthayae…..
Nee indri yengumme irul aanadhe….. “

He once again heard these lines. Does this mean… Again his call went unanswered. He looked at the time. Its 11.27. Time is running out. He needs her to pick his call if his plans has to work. But what if she is avoiding his call …. He was not sure. May be he will call her one more time. If she is not picking the call, then he will leave and go home for the night.
