Mullai sat on the bed and checked her mobile photos. The kodaikanal pictures. She cherished them for so many reasons. That trip once again proved how caring and selfless her husband is. He was a different person all through the trip. So kind and caring. He tended to all her needs. He was so handsome all through the trip and she felt it had a great deal to do with not being burdened with shop work.

She was looking at the picture they took after the cycle ride, the one they took near the corn vendor stall. She is very fond of this particular picture. He readily posed for this selfie. Their happiness can be seen clear as the day on their faces.

She adore the memory of their cycle ride. It was the first ever time , they actually willingly did something together. She yearned for one more such ride now. But this time she wants to lean a little on his shoulder and put her head near his heart, listening to his heartbeat.  Look up into those beautiful eyes as they go around and be the receiver of that charming smile.

Parvathy’s voice carried over calling her name.. Mullai wiped her tears and stood.

“Theedirnu enna dhan nadandhudhu? Onnum puriyalayae! Vandhudaren nu sollitu phone vachchaga. Aana… “
