Its now around 6 in the evening. Kathir decided to wait for the Carpenter. Since he had much time, he went to have some tea. He ordered for a ginger tea and sat waiting.

The moments like these are the most painful. Memories simply assaulted him.

Even when she was not fond of him, she had always been kind and loving to his family. He has seen it time and again, in various circumstances. She loves them all and is happy to be surrounded by them. She never once struggled to get along in the family. She took to them as a fish to the water. He has secretly admired that about her.

Her relationship with Meena is also a huge surprise for Kathir. No girl in her shoes would have been this forgiving and cordial. Never once had she ever compared herself to Meena or Dhanam. She had always been herself.

Her love for Kannan is once again something that actually attracted him to her. The way she consoled Kanna after he was hit or her relentless support to kanna during the Bathroom lock issue was something which always made him feel fulfilled.

He also never once saw her blaming Jeeva or being rude to him. In fact, off late, he even observed them sharing a healthy and comfortable relationship. He is forever thankful for this girl finding strength in this matter as he is clueless of her thoughts and feelings. He cant even ask as it may be perceived wrong. But he knows his brother. More than that he knows his wife.

He knows how much his anni loves and adores Mullai. He also understands that the feelings are entirely mutual. Dhanam anni has some secrets and he is sure Mullai is the only one who is privy to it. Bless her. She had not even opened it up to him.

She truly is a blessing to his family. And he did get extremely lucky in getting a girl like this as his wife. He is afraid that he has lost her, when he let her go to her home without a fight.
“Thappu panniteiyae da Kathiru!”

As he sipped tea and mused these thoughts, a conversation nearby got his attention.

“ Amama… Inniki thedhi 25 aachu… Innum 2 naal dhan.. November 28 ku podhu naan veetuku vandhuduven. …

“ Inniki thedhi Nov 25 ah? … Adhukulayuma? … Kathir’s thoughts were running mile a minute. His face changed from sad to confusion to surprise to anger to helplessness to once again sad.
